| Flexibility |
A LCD TV can be mounted on a wall or be placed on a table. They can also accept PC input so can be used as a computer monitor. |
| Size / Weight |
The slim, flat-panel display of a LCD TV means it doesn't take up much space and are comparatively light for their size. It should be noted that the technology behind LCD TV's is more flexible, allowing a wider variety of screen sizes. LCD TVs are actually thinner than Plasma TVs which works better if you want to wall mount it. |
| Lifetime |
LCD TV's theoretically have a life of about 50,000 - 80,000 hours. This equates to 25 years for a 60,000 hour LCD TV if it is watched 6 hours per day. |
| Energy Saving |
An LCD TV uses less power than a similar sized CRT TV or Plasma TV which means it is better for the environment. |
