3D TVs

If you’re truly after an immersive experience, 3D technology is the way to go…with the increase of 3D movies in our cinemas, 3D technology is now available so you can enjoy an immersive experience within the comfort of your own home, enjoying movies, sports, games, video calling and much, much more.

What makes 3D Television different from other televisions?

All traditional televisions function in 2D, which display height and width. A 3D Television allows viewers to watch television in height, width and depth.

How does 3D Television work?

The 3D television projects an image that, to the naked eye, may seem blurry and hard to make out. This is due to it being made up of two slightly different images. When the 3D television glasses are worn, the filters in the lenses will bring these images together, displaying a vivid & focused image. You seem to be an active participant within the scene!

Can I watch still 2D from my 3D television?

Yes, if you do not want to watch your television in 3D, no problem, you can always revert back to watching your TV in 2D, it will still give you a great quality of picture.

What else will I need with my 3D television?

There may be other components you will need to get the best out of your 3D TV, these include:
  • 3D glasses for each viewer,
  • Blu Ray Player with 3D capability,
  • Home Theatre System with 3D capability,
  • TV camera for video calling, such as Skype.

How can I find out more about 3D?
