Information on how to claim the bonus rebate forms a part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Who Can Claim?

Participation in this promotion is only open to Australian residents 18 years and over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to claim. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister or 1st cousin. Only one claim is permitted per person.

Promotional Period

The promotion commences at 9.00am (AEST) on 01 March 2017 and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) on 31 May 2017 (Promotional Period). Claims must be received by the Promoter by 11.59pm (AEST) on 31 August 2017. Any claims received after this date will be ineligible.

Promotional Offer

Purchase an eligible Fisher & Paykel washing machine and dryer combination (as detailed below) in a single transaction during the Promotional Period from a participating retailer nationally and be eligible to receive a bonus 10% rebate of the total purchase price of the eligible model combination purchased (being the amount actually paid by the claimant for the relevant eligible model combination and excluding installation costs, delivery fees, accessories / spare parts and any other costs / fees imposed by the retailer or any other person).

Qualifying Products are to be paid in full prior to registering your claim for this promotion, except in the case of products on backorder. Layby's will not be accepted unless paid in full within the Promotional Period. Qualifying Products purchased under finance or payment agreements are eligible to participate in this promotion.

Products under rental agreements with a minimum period of no less than 18 months are eligible for this promotion. To qualify, a rental agreement must be established during the Promotional Period. Proof of rental agreement must be submitted with your online claim and must clearly detail the qualifying model(s) purchased, date of establishment of rental agreement and the rental term. Products under rental plans with rental terms less than 18 months are ineligible to claim for this promotion. If the rental agreement is cancelled before the rental term and the product is to be returned to the retailer, the bonus rebate must be returned to the Promoter.

If a Qualifying Product is on backorder ('out of stock') a deposit on that product must be paid during the Promotional Period to be eligible for this offer. Full payment and receipt of the product(s) (and therefore access to the product serial number) must occur before 5:00PM on 31 August 2017 in order to lodge an online claim for this promotional offer.

You must register for your claim online here. Registrations close at 11:59pm(AEST) on 31 August 2017 after which no further claims will be accepted. Claimants must agree to these full Terms & Conditions on the online registration form and supply the information marked as mandatory, including providing proof of purchase (or proof of rental agreement).

When registering your claim you must supply the following information:

  • Contact details - name, address, daytime contact phone number and bank account details, including BSB, Account Number and Account name. The Promoter accepts NO responsibility for the customer providing incorrect account details.
  • Serial number(s) of your Qualifying Product(s) on your proof of purchase
  • Copy of your proof of purchase - a receipt/tax invoice indicating the date of purchase, the Qualifying Products purchased and the total purchase price of those Qualifying Products

 

You can provide a copy of your proof of purchase in the following manner:

    • Scan and upload to your online registration form OR
    • Make a copy and write your name and 12 digit unique code (provided in your confirmation of claim email) on it and post to:

    Please ensure you retain your original and only send a photocopy of the original. Failure to produce the proof of purchase when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in the invalidation of a claimant's claim and forfeiture of any right to the bonus rebate. The proof of purchase must clearly specify the store of purchase, relevant model number, that payment was made in full within Australia and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period.
Please note if you choose to mail in a copy of your invoice/receipt, this must be received by Fisher & Paykel by close of business on 07 September 2017. Any mail received after this date will deem your claim invalid. Fisher & Paykel accepts NO responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail and/or claims.

 

This promotional offer is not available to customers who choose to delay delivery of any Qualifying Product beyond 31 August 2017 as the provision of serial numbers is mandatory for entry into this promotion.

The claimant agrees that if they receive the rebate but then return a Qualifying Product(s) (under any returns policy the retailer may have), they will also return the rebate to the Promoter.

If your claim is approved you will receive an approval email. Claimants will receive their payment within 45 days of the Promoter approving the claim. If you do not receive your payment bank account within 45 days from your approval email, please contact the Fisher & Paykel promotions team viaaus.promotions@fisherpaykel.com and ensure you include your full name and 12 digit unique code (found in your confirmation of entry email).It is the responsibility of the claimant to provide the correct bank account number for the direct credit payment.

General

The offer is not applicable to trade (commercial) or wholesale suppliers, this includes but is not limited to purchases made from suppliers that do not generally sell direct to the public. This offer is also not available on trade seconds products. This promotional offer excludes friends and family discounted purchases made directly through Fisher & Paykel.

All claims are subject to verification by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims (including contacting the place of purchase) and claimants (including a claimant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the claim process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible claims will be deemed invalid.

Any misrepresentation or fraudulent information by the purchaser disqualifies claim of this offer.

The Promoter reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions without notice, to modify, reschedule or terminate the promotion or to modify or extend the closing date and criteria of the Promotion at its discretion.

The Promoter's decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except as otherwise stated in these terms and conditions. Claims are not transferrable or assignable.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other legislation which may not be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of property); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim or offer that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in gift value; (e) any tax liability incurred by a entrant; or (f) participation in the promotion or use of a gift.

Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid. If for any reason, any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.

If a claim is eligible and made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the claimant will receive installation of the Qualifying Product(s) by a Fisher & Paykel trained and supported service technician at the claimant's designated premises, subject to clause 10 below (Refrigerator Installation).
  9. The following conditions apply to the Refrigerator Installation:If your claim for this promotion is validated, you will receive an email with detailed instructions for booking your bonus Refrigerator installation. You can submit your preferred date and time for installation by following the link provided in your confirmation email. If your selected date and time is available you will receive an email confirming your booking. If your selected date or time is unavailable you will be contacted by a Customer Care representative within 2 - 3 business days to reschedule your booking.
    • Refrigerator Installation can only take place within major metropolitan and regional areas that Fisher & Paykel service covers. To check if you live in a qualifying area, please contact Fisher & Paykel Customer Care on 1300 650 590.
    • Connections will only be carried out where the joinery, electrical and plumbing requirements meet those shown in the Fisher& Paykel product Installation Instructions provided with the Qualifying Product, or as illustrated for the applicable Qualifying Product on the Fisher & Paykel website www.fisherpaykel.com.au.
    • All electrical wiring and fittings must meet the electrical standard for the appliance being installed as required by the current AS/NZ3000 electrical wiring regulations.
    • The appliance must be in place adjacent to where it is to be connected regardless of whether the building is a single or multi-level property.
    • The Qualifying Product must be available to be connected when the Fisher & Paykel Technician arrives at the designated premises.
    • Disconnection, removal and disposal of the old appliance product is the responsibility of the customer. The Fisher & Paykel trained and supported service technician will remove all packaging related to the Qualifying Product if requested.
    • If the Fisher & Paykel trained and supported service technician is unable to complete the connection of the appliance due to the installation not meeting the conditions set out in the Terms & Conditions or the consumer not being available within the agreed upon time frames, a charge may apply to complete the connection.
    • A Fisher & Paykel trained and supported service technician will undertake to complete the connection within a reasonable amount of time allowing for geographical location and availability of resources.
    • The Fisher & Paykel trained and supported service technician will not install the front on Slide-In Refrigeration models.
